Tips to Lose Arm Fat


 Arm fat is a major challenge to many women, although it occurs in both men and women; it is more common and has the most worrisome effect on the women. (In Nigeria, especially in the Eastern part of the country, it is mockingly referred to as “Christian Mother Hand”).  Flabby arms do not look attractive and can work against your image and self-confidence, trimmed and toned arm makes a woman look attractive and young.

Arm fat is a fat that is stored in the arm and like any other body fat is eliminated by burning them out.  The first step to control arm fat is to keep your whole body trimmed.  These can be achieved by: 

Adoption of Healthy Diets-

The body may need all the classes of food to remain healthy but excessive consumption of carbohydrates and fats can lead to diabetes, cancer, obesity and other dangerous diseases.  If possible, avoid processed foods and sugary drinks.

Eat diets that are rich in protein as it helps to build and repair the body e.g.  Beans, eggs (particularly the white part) fish, white meats (chicken, turkey) etc. Eat less carbohydrate (unripe plantain), less fats, lots of fruits and vegetables.  Drink lots of liquids – water, natural fruit juice, protein shakes. 

Most importantly consume your meals in small quantities to avoid over eating.



Physical Body Exercise - 

This will help to build some muscle around your arm, the more muscle on your arm, the more chances of burning the fats.  Engage in minor weight lifting exercises that target all the muscle gathering areas of your arm - the biceps, triceps and the shoulders.

Try This Arm Exercise:

Use an object that has a weight of about 10kg or more depending on your ability; lift it with your two hands over your head as if you want to place it on your back.  Continue to lift it up and down and count up to 20 or till your energy is exhausted. 

Or This:

This requires a wooden table that is very close to the floor, you can use a centre table.  Bend and back the table, place your two hands backwards on the table and stretch your two legs forward.  Carry yourself up and down and count up to 20 or till your energy is exhausted.
           

Do these exercises and some work outs every day and you will get a wonderful result.
