Lifestyles That Can Make You Fat

Do you know you can maintain a healthy weight throughout your life time?  Do you also know you can accomplish this without visiting a single Doctor?  Avoiding the following will help tremendously:

Sitting Too Long

Are you an office worker or a Writer who sits for too long in front of the computer? Are you addicted to movies and programs and sits for a very long time watching your television?  Are you the Boss or Madam of the house or the shop and surround yourself with errand boys and girls and then sits in a place dishing out instructions?

Healthy Beverage for 40+ Moms and Dads

I have this amazing revelation to give to you if you are 40 years and above concerning beverage drinks.  I say 40 because at this age I presume you are already a mum or a dad and would have the understanding of what health problem is. Okay!

Before you hit age 40, you hardly understand or believe that one could have health issues and probably do not mind what you eat.  For example, when you talk to the younger ones on the dangers of eating sweet things particularly sugary drinks, they wave you aside.

I have however discovered that health problems do set in from this period of one’s life time and what you eat determines how healthy you will be.  If you eat and drink healthy food and drinks, you will be healthy but if you decide to eat junks, unhealthy foods and wash them down with sugary and cholesterol filled drinks, you will become sick and eventually die early.

How to Recover Fast after a Stillbirth

Stillbirths do occur at different stages of pregnancy, some babies die in the stomach after about 28 weeks, while others may occur during labor and child birth. When it occurs earlier it will be regarded as a miscarriage.

Losing your baby no matter how old can be very overwhelming, mothers who have had miscarriages or lose their pregnancies can tell you better.

A good friend of mine has just lost her baby immediately after birth.  When I visited her home, she did not come out to see me, she was so devastated that she has refused to see anyone or hear any word of advice.

Most of us have had this type of experience in the past and to tell you the fact, it is definitely not a good experience, especially if you are a first timer.  I lost my first baby boy immediately after birth and it was like the end of the world then.  I remembered how I will cry for a whole day without eating until I was able to put myself together.

Kidney Failure Disease - How to Take Care of Yourself

The disease of Kidney failure is getting too scary by the day.  Few days ago we all received the news
of the demise of a young Nigerian Actor. His death is a typical example of millions of people that are dying daily as a result of this deadly kidney disease.  Since this disease is not a respecter of anybody, we owe ourselves the duty of taking care of our health to prevent or reduce its effect.

Here Are The Top 6 Preventive Measures We Can Take to Help Ourselves.

Don’t Keep Urine in Your Bladder.

Keeping urine in your bladder for too long or excreta in your bowl is a very bad idea. A full bladder can cause bladder damage. The urine that stays in the bladder multiplies bacteria quickly. Once the urine re-fluxes back to the urethra and kidneys, the toxic substances can result in kidney infections, then urinary tract infections, and then nephritis, and even uremia. When nature calls – do it as soon as possible.

Don’t Eat Too Much Salt (Sodium).

You should eat no more than 5.8 grams of salt daily.  Most of the foods we consume already have salt in them, so if you already have diabetes and or High Blood Pressure, do not add more salt to your food. Eating too much salt will raise your blood pressure which will affect your kidney.  Not eating salt at all is not the best, so do it in moderation to avoid the dangers of both ways.
